WELCOME TO CHRIST THE REDEEMER PARISH
The Pastor, Clergy, Deacons, and Pastoral Council of Christ the Redeemer Parish (CTR Parish) would like to extend our warmest wishes in welcoming you to our parish community. Please consider this your parish and parishioners part of your family of faith. We are confident that any involvement with the members of our parish will be a fulfilling and enriching spiritual journey. Plentiful redemption can be experienced in a more personal level with your dedicated involvement and the sharing of your time, talent, and treasure in the service of our Lord, Jesus Christ.
Within this Welcome Package you will find a list of various ministries available for spiritual development. We anticipate that you will find something of personal interest to you. We hope you will feel comfortable reaching out and volunteering in supporting one or more ministries. What a great way to form new relationships with fellow parishioners and God and show our gratitude for the gift of Jesus Christ the Redeemer.
PARISH MISSION
T o be a community of love, a family, that joyfully proclaims and bears witness to the Gospel, and that serves the poor and one another.
PARISH VISION
Christ the Redeemer Parish in Manville, N.J., is one in faith, mission, and spirit. We are home to a diverse, yet tightly knit, Catholic community, including a special apostolate for area Catholics of Polish descent. Following the example of Christ the Redeemer, we welcome everyone who seeks love, comfort and healing especially the poor, sick, lonely, and needy in our area.
Nourished by the Holy Eucharist and the Word of God, we foster Catholic education and formation through parish religious education programs.
In the spirit of the New Evangelization, we honor the rich traditions and unique histories that have brought us together, reaching out to our brothers and sisters with renewed structure, methods, expression, and dialogue.
Certain that all we have is from God, we embrace the values of Catholic Stewardship and encourage the ongoing exchanges of God’s gifts and talents to ensure a healthy, strong, multi-faceted, and fiscally thriving community.
Above all, we serve as one body, in Jesus Christ the Redeemer, through the intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary and guided by the Holy Spirit.

Send forth your Spirit, Lord, into the hearts of your faithful people, that we may be conscious of our vocation to holiness and service to others.
Grant that many of us may dedicate ourselves to You through the priesthood, religious life, and lay ministries.
Grant that we may always have sufficient good and holy priests and deacons, dedicated sisters and brothers, and committed lay ministers to serve our communities.
We make this prayer through Jesus Christ, our Lord and Redeemer.
Amen
